Here's what we've got for you for the weekend of Aug. 23-25:

MUSEUM OF AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY: The Highland Street Foundation’s Free Fun Fridays program is offering free admission to the Museum of African American History, 46 Joy St. on Beacon Hill Friday. More information here. The museum holds hourly tours on its Boston campus from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day except Sundays at 46 Joy St. on Beacon Hill. More information is available here.

BOSTON BY FOOT: Boston By Foot's regular season walking tour of Beacon Hill continues with tours everyday through Oct. 1. Their weekend schedule includes tours at 5:30 p.m. Fridays and at noon on Saturdays and Sundays. More information is available here.

RED LINE DIVERSION CANCELLED: There will not be an MBTA Red Line shuttle bus diversion this weekend as previously scheduled. It has been postponed to Sept. 14 and 15. So train service will run as normal between Kendall/MIT and Park Street.
