Located inside the Social Law Library in the John Adams Courthouse, the Flaschner Judicial Institute provides education and professional development services for federal and state judges in Massachusetts. Educational themes include diversity training and awareness of gender and racial biases, damages assessment, mental health issues in criminal cases, judicial ethics and courtroom security. Programs are designed to benefit both new and experienced judges and the majority of the Massachusetts judiciary participates in Flaschner programs every year.
