Hill House is located in a former Beacon Hill fire house that now serves as the headquarters for this nonprofit community center. Founded in 1966, Hill House specializes in children's programs and physical education. Hill House offers programs in art, chess, karate, baseball, dance, music, soccer, basketball and gymnastics. Hill House also has gym space at the Beacon Hill Civic Association building at 74 Joy Street.

The converted fire house garage doubles as a gymnasium for local elementary schools and is home to a host of community programs, events, parties and meetings. The Hill House motto is "Your backyard in the city."
