Myrtle Street Playground
The Myrtle Street Playground is tucked down a quiet, pristine street in Beacon Hill but the playground itself is anything but quiet, owing to the park's popularity with young Beacon Hill families.
A well-appointed and traditional playground maintained by the city's parks & recreation department, Myrtle Street features two separate play areas, plenty of swings, a sandbox, three slides, picnic tables and rubber mats to absorb falls.
Visit the playground's website for upcoming events.

I like the bicycle parking along the fence. It keeps the bikes off the narrow sidewalks, and provides a safe place for owners to leave them, outside of the usually small local apartments. Since there is virtually no yard space in this neighborhood, the playground fence is a blessing.
Incidentally, bikes on the fence is a great photo op, especially when there is a new snowfall.
