What Business Would You Like to See on Beacon Hill in 2013?

It's a new year, and that means more opportunities for businesses to open in the neighborhood.

This year saw the opening of several great additions to the Hill: JP Licks, Dakota Puffin Dog Boutique, noa, two North River Outfitter stores and more. What about a movie theater or a new boutique?  Share your thoughts in the comments and see what your neighbors think too.

What Beacon Hill Business Were You Sad to See Close in 2012?

During these economic times, businesses come and go all the time. Tell us which ones you were sad to see go in the comments section below.

It was another year of welcomes and farewells for Beacon Hill businesses. Early in the year, Beacon Hill Framery left Charles Street for Fort Point and the clothing store Vira opened up shortly after in the framery's former home.  In the fall, Salon Evergreen, at 28 Charles St., left and Townhouse Beauty Bar opened in the spot.  Recently, antiques dealer Churchill & White closed at 122 Charles St., and North River Outfitter expanded into the space.  TELL US: What Beacon Hill business(es) were you sad to see close in 2012?
