Beacon Hillers at the City Hall polls predict victories for incumbent Democrats.
Beacon Hill voters showed strong support for incumbent Democratic candidates during the first hours of polling at City Hall earlier this morning. Even before the sun rose, a group of about 25 voters gathered outside, blowing into their hands to keep warm before the doors opened at 7 a.m. A steady stream of voters continued to arrive throughout the first couple of hours. The majority of Beacon Hillers and other Boston residents who live in ward 3, precinct 6 said they voted for Deval Patrick for governor and incumbent Democrat Anthony Petruccelli (D-First Suffolk and Middlesex), for state senator.
