Patch editors throughout the state monitor the comments sections of posts and if we see someone cursing, masking swears or violating other aspects of the Terms of Use that is when we remove a comment(s) from a story. I think I speak for all the editors of the state when I say we would love it if we did not have to remove comments from a story, but when commenters decide to go off-topic and make derogatory/obscene comments toward other readers that is when we will remove them from the site. So, in a nutshell: Andy Sylvia is not the only editor deciding who is violating Patch's Terms of Use.
