On the article Ben Affleck Tapped To Direct Bunker Hill Film

ReplyDan,
I know that there are probably no rebel remains at Bunker Hill. That wasn't my point. My point is that Bunker Hill is a symbol, and most people don't even understand its significance. I will never be ok with people using the grounds as a dog park.

ReplyAwesome. I'm actually pumped to see this happen. I think Mr. Affleck is truly coming I to his own as a film maker.
On a side note, and this is just me dreaming, perhaps if enough people see the film they'll realize that it's sacred to our national heritage, and they'll stop letting their dogs crap on the blood of patriots.

ReplyJoseph,
I won't even bother posting my thoughts because you put it perfectly. People need to get way more fired up over the ongoing attack on hard working people in this state. I'm sick of it.

ReplyWhoa there, tough guy. What's your problem? You come at me like that when I said nothing like that to you? I don't actually care where he lives. I just hate when idiots make claims and refuse to back it up. That's all. So calm down. I know being able to mouth off behind a computer feels empowering, but grow up. Have a nice day.

I guess we'll just flush the entire Constitution down the toilet. It can't work one way for one set of criminals and another way for pedophiles. The entire point of our legal system is that we can't just get town limb from limb just because an accusation is made. Getting "up in arms" is one thing, denying someone the basic rights of a fair trial in which the buren of proof rests with the prosecution (meaning that the accused is presumed innocent and the prosecution must prove guilt) is quite another. It is difficult to remain in a rational frame of mind when a child is harmed. They are trusting, vulnerable, and often unable to defend themselves from predators. However, the supression of such irrational reactions to heinous acts against children, and the the reasoned approach to the arrest, trial, and, if found guilty, punishment of those who would prey upon children is vital to maintaining a civilized society.
Is there any more or less sexual abuse today than there has been in the past, or is it that it is being more openly addressed in public forums, with law enforcement more easily able to carry out investigations with much better tools than they had in years past?

Would comprehension of the written English language, including proper use of punctuation, capitalization, and apostrophes be on the test? For the sake of your voting future, I hope not.

I was just looking to see if you had anything credible to substantiate your claims. Apparently not. Have a good one.

So you're saying that only Democrats engage in this type of practice? No member's of other political parties do the same thing. Also, what are your sources to confirm your statements? You made the claims, so the burden of proof is on you. Please try to respond rationally.

It's articles like this that make me sad that I can't go rescue Nala right now. Poor thing. She deserves better.
