Building at 145 Charles St. Purchased For $1.65M

The retail condominium building at 145 Charles St. on Beacon Hill has been purchased for $1.65 million, according to buyer Linear Retail Properties, LLC.

For the past 27 years, the lower unit of the building has been occupied by the King & I Thai Restaurant.

Linear Retail, based in Burlington, also owns the building at 62 Charles St., formerly occupied by the Charles Street Market.

“This acquisition further increases our investment in the Beacon Hill neighborhood," said Aubrey Cannuscio, Linear Retail’s Partner of Acquisitions, in a statement. "Linear Retail is seeking to acquire additional retail properties in Boston and other cities and towns in Eastern Massachusetts.”

William M. Braucher, a principal of the seller, 145 Charles Street Trust, said he was "happy to see that the property will remain in good hands.”
